+sobs huge fat horrible tears of utter relief and joy+
It's finally over.... +bursts into tears again+
I'm beginning to suspect that I am - quite possibly - a masochist. For some reason I keep agreeing to do (or otherwise starting my own) immensely non-Christine-material type drawings that completely push me over the limits of sanity and leave me sitting in the bathroom on my knees for hours spewing out vomit in psycho-somatic stress. PS I am not joking about that last bit. This time I gave myself a bad case of constipation, too. HAHA, you read it, you can't un-read it! XD
The actual girl was no problem... I draw girls all the time. (Though usually ones that have much less bombshell-esque bodies than this one.) But this is the first time I ever attempted to draw real bird/butterfly wings and they puh-RETTY much taught me the most hardcore art lesson ever. The lesson: Christine needs more practice drawings wings. Only probably not for a long time or she'll kill herself. LAWL. There were also supposed to be chains around the wings... but after hours and hours and countless more hours of trying to get them right and practically sobbing my eyes out, I decided to give up.
No seriously. I'm sort of delirious over here... this monster is finally over. I'm thinking right now that I probably shouldn't advertise to you guys how pathetic I am that artistic challenges drive me over the edge like this... but I'd rather you think I'm pathetic than have to bottle in the pain these things cause me. HOORAY! Pain is good for you, though. Gooooood. Heeaaaaalthy. Yeeeeessss. <-mantra
PPS: I am totally making that ninja poo thing my features deviation now. I'm not kidding. I'm so fucked up right now and that seems like the greatest possible thing I could do. XDDDDDDD
That's absolutely AWESOME, Christine ._. As in it inspires AWE. I could never in a million years do anything good enough to even be crapped out by this drawing. I'm sorry the wings caused you such anguish, because they're truly amazing. As in the best thing my eyes have seen all day. They thank you for it.
And you're far too hard on yourself. You're an amazing artist.
